Circles ‘round the eyes, working on my 80’s look at nights
Often prolonged by an apparently extraneous line-up of infinite Goodnights.
A nightingale you must be, one that I rarely see,
But when you’re online you never fail to IM me,

Your avatar shall greet me always dressed new completely
Even if just to compliment mine fully after couple IMs to me,
And that’s OK, cause you seem to enjoy this quite,
Plus they’re useful when it comes to sleep therapy at night.

Rainbow range of color favorites with daily flavor singled out
Is that what you contemplate about before writing some poem out?
Or is emotion the only impetus behind your captivating verses,
Discounting the spontaneity behind some particular amusing chronicles…

A real Dame, in denial of her fixation for the English nation
Insist you’re a genius, and spell it with J, and that’s OK
You can have it your way
And bring a smile to my face anyway.

So while you say your bed covers bring you more console,
You will still have a shoulder to cry on…
